Resurgens Orthopaedics the largest orthopaedic practice in Georgia continues to grow and expand its services with the addition of Dr. Phani K. Dantuluri to its Emory Midtown (550 Peachtree Street, 19th Floor; 404-215-2000) and Decatur (2680 Lawrenceville Highway, Suite 100; 770-491-3003) locations. 

Dr. Dantuluri is now seeing patients at both locations.

Dr. Dantuluri’s areas of expertise include sports medicine, shoulder and elbow surgery, hand and wrist surgery, and arthroscopic, reconstructive, and joint replacement surgery.  While practicing in the Northeast, Dr. Dantuluri served as an Associate Team Physician for the New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers, and the ATP Tour. He also served as the Chief of the Division of Shoulder Surgery at the Philadelphia Hand Center and President of the Philadelphia Hand and Upper Extremity Society. 

He completed his upper extremity fellowship at the Harvard Combined Program at the Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women's Hospitals in Boston, Massachusetts. He also completed an additional international shoulder fellowship with Dr. Gilles Walch, the Past President of the European Shoulder and Elbow Society, at Clinique St. Anne Lumiere in Lyon, France. He completed his residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and received his medical degree from the Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, Rhode Island. 

Dr. Dantuluri is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons with additional qualifications in upper extremity surgery.
