We are currently looking to fill an opening for the critical role of Hand Therapist, in either a full-time or part-time flexible position for our Lawrenceville, GA location. 

The Hand Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patient’s upper extremity musculoskeletal needs and performing specific therapy procedures to fulfill individual patient treatment plans. 

The successful candidate will work side by side with an exceptional Hand Surgeon and will possess a Georgia state license by the appropriate Georgia Board of Physical or Occupational Therapy, be modality certified by the state of Georgia (OT), and preferably have experience in an outpatient hand therapy environment.  A Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or therapist interested in acquiring their CHT, is preferred, as this case load includes the treatment of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of splint fabrication, and basic wound care experience.  A responsible person who takes initiative will thrive in the fast-paced atmosphere of this office.  We are seeking a dedicated professional with exceptional customer service skills and a candidate seeking a rewarding career path.

Additional skills include knowledge of how to create and carry out treatment plans as prescribed by referring physicians; knowledge of documentation of care and other patient information for medical records, EMR preferred; ability to communicate clearly and concisely in all written and verbal communications; strong organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail; and demonstrated conflict management skills.
